Our Campus

What the school provides

The pages below describe the campus as it stands today. We would rather show you the school than describe it — visitors are welcome.

The assembly and function hall at Shanti Niketan Inter College, set out with seating and a decorated stage

Assembly & Function Hall

A large covered hall on campus where the school gathers for assemblies, the annual function, prize distribution and competitions.

The hall seats the whole school for assemblies and is set up with a full stage for the annual function and prize distribution. It doubles through the year as the venue for inter-house competitions, cultural performances and parent gatherings.

Solar-Powered Campus

A rooftop solar installation supplies the campus with clean electricity and keeps classrooms running through power cuts.

A bank of solar panels covers the school roof, generating electricity for the building during the day. Beyond keeping fans, lights and classroom equipment running reliably, the installation gives students a working example of renewable energy on their own campus.

The three-storey Shanti Niketan Inter College building in Pal Vihar, Raj Nagar, Loni

Purpose-Built Campus

A three-storey school building in Pal Vihar, built for teaching and easily reached on foot from the surrounding colonies.

The school occupies its own three-storey building in Pal Vihar, Raj Nagar, Loni. Classrooms are arranged across the upper floors with the hall and offices below, and the main entrance opens directly onto the street, so most families walk their children to the gate.

Classrooms

Classrooms across the building for every stage from Nursery through to Class 12.

Teaching space is organised by stage, so the youngest children learn in rooms arranged for them while senior classes work in rooms set up for board preparation.

Physics, Chemistry & Biology Laboratories

Well-equipped laboratories for practical work in physics, chemistry and biology, used through the senior secondary science course.

Practical work is part of the U.P. Board science course, and the school maintains separate laboratories for physics, chemistry and biology so that students carry out experiments themselves rather than only reading about them.

Computer Laboratory

A technology-enabled computer laboratory where students build digital skills alongside their regular subjects.

The computer laboratory supports the school’s aim of sending students on with practical digital skills — the everyday competence with a computer that further study and most work now assume.

A Safe, Supervised Campus

A single supervised entrance, staff on duty through the day, and a compact campus where every child is known by name.

The building has one main entrance that stays supervised during school hours. Because the school is a close community rather than a large institution, staff know the children individually and parents can speak to a teacher without an appointment.

School Transport

A conveyance facility for students travelling to school from the surrounding area.

The school runs a transport facility for families who need it. Routes and fees are set by the office — please ask at reception for the arrangement covering your area.

CCTV Surveillance

CCTV cameras across the important areas of the campus, supporting a safe and secure school environment.

Cameras cover the main circulation areas of the campus. They exist to keep the school orderly and to give parents confidence about the environment their child spends the day in.

Safe Drinking Water

Clean and accessible drinking water for students and staff throughout the school day.

Drinking water points are available on campus for students and staff. It is a small thing that matters a great deal across a full school day in a Loni summer.

Supporting the day-to-day

For details of provision for a particular class or subject, please ask at the school office — we would rather answer your question directly than leave you guessing.
