Shanti Niketan Inter College stands in Pal Vihar, Raj Nagar, Loni — a school built for the families around it. Children walk to the gate, parents know the staff, and the school knows the children by name.
We teach the full Uttar Pradesh Board (UPMSP) programme from Nursery through to Class 12, with Science, Arts and Commerce offered at senior secondary level. That span matters: a child can begin here at three years old and leave with an Intermediate certificate, taught throughout by people who have watched them grow up.
What we aim for is straightforward. Every student should leave able to read closely, reason clearly, speak with confidence in Hindi and in English, and sit a board examination without fear of it.
A school is judged by what it does for its average student, not its best one. Our teaching is built around that idea: small enough classes for a teacher to notice when a child has stopped following, and a habit of acting on it early rather than at the end of the year.
We teach in both Hindi and English so that language never becomes the barrier to understanding a subject. Assessment runs continuously — unit tests, half-yearly and pre-board examinations — so that progress is visible to teachers and parents alike while there is still time to do something about it.
