Welcome

A neighbourhood school with
serious academic intent

Shanti Niketan Inter College stands in Pal Vihar, Raj Nagar, Loni — a school built for the families around it. Children walk to the gate, parents know the staff, and the school knows the children by name.

We teach the full Uttar Pradesh Board programme from Nursery through to Class 12. A child can begin here at three years old and leave with an Intermediate certificate, taught throughout by people who have watched them grow up.

  • All three senior secondary streams taught here
  • Teaching in Hindi and English, so language is never the barrier
  • Continuous assessment, with parents told early

Why S.N.I.C

A foundation built on attention

A school is judged by what it does for its average student, not its best one. Everything here is arranged around that idea.

Every Child Known

Class sizes are small enough that teachers know each student individually and can act early when a child begins to struggle.

Hindi and English Together

Teaching draws on both languages so that no child is held back by language while learning the subject itself.

Regular Assessment

Unit tests, half-yearly and pre-board examinations run through the year, so progress is measured continuously rather than only at the end.

Parents Kept Close

Parents are welcome at the school office during working hours and are told promptly about attendance, results and conduct.

Real Choice at Class 11

Science, Arts and Commerce are all taught here, so a student’s choice of stream is genuinely their own.

A Campus That Keeps Running

Rooftop solar powers the building through the day, so lessons are not interrupted when the supply is.

School Life

More than the syllabus

The stage, the prize table and the display board matter as much as the classroom.

Annual Function

The school year builds towards the annual function, when the hall is decorated, the stage is set and students perform before an audience of parents, staff and guests.

Prize Distribution

Achievement is recognised publicly. Students receive trophies and certificates in front of the whole school, for academic results as much as for effort and participation.

Art, Craft & Display

Students design and build the displays that decorate the school for its events — paper flowers, lettering, boards and stage decoration are made by the children themselves.

Competitions

Competitions run through the year and give every student something to aim at outside the examination hall.

Morning Assembly

The school gathers each morning before lessons begin — a short shared start to the day for announcements, thought and news.

National Days & Festivals

Independence Day, Republic Day and the festivals of the year are marked on campus, giving students a shared sense of occasion and belonging.

Cultural Programmes

Song, dance, drama and recitation give students a stage, and the confidence that comes from standing on one.

Values & Life Skills

Beyond the syllabus, students are guided in the habits that carry them through life — discipline, responsibility, courtesy and care for their surroundings.

Sports & Physical Activities

Sports, games, fitness activities and competitions that encourage teamwork, discipline and a healthy routine alongside the academic day.

Science & Practical Activities

Science exhibitions, laboratory practicals, projects and experiments that develop curiosity and scientific thinking beyond the textbook.

Educational Events & Workshops

Interactive learning sessions and special activities designed to make lessons more engaging — and to show students what a subject looks like outside the syllabus.
